Mundipharma Pty Limited (MPL) are proud to announce the renewal of their partnership with leading child protection charity, Barnardos Australia.

In 2014, MPL and Barnardos formed a strategic alliance aimed at improving the lives of both parents and children through their participation in an early intervention program called Parents As Teachers (PAT).

Piloted in the small town of Nyngan, Western NSW, over 20 young Aboriginal families were supported through this innovative program. Given the success of the pilot, MPL is once again going to be the primary supporter of the PAT program and it will be rolled out to other locations in Western NSW in late 2016.

In 2015/2016 the scope of MPL’s support widened significantly. This commitment to support Barnardos’ work echoed throughout the entire organisation and employees have given selflessly in a variety of ways. Over the past 12 months, multiple teams across multiple states have been involved in no fewer than 13 engagement activities with Barnardos. These include participation in running events, toy donation drives, knitting circles and internal fundraisers.

Deirdre Cheers, CEO of Barnardos said: “Thank you Mundipharma for believing in our children and families. Without your support, we would not be able to have such a valuable program for our very remote families in Western NSW and we look forward to the next 12 months of the partnership.”
